Im currently looking for a nice electric type pokemon for my team, but unsure of what pokemon to catch. Anyone have any suggestions that would be a good addition to any team?

It's a pain finding a tynamo though. Plus Tynamo are useless until they evolve

And Emolga. Very good. This is just in 5th gen.

Try getting Electrive or Ampharos. Both are from black and white 2, but you can try getting them thru trades.

I've run with Emolga in White 2 and in Black and I love it. If you want a baby with the dw ability I can breed you one.

Agreed on Electivire and Eelektross. Electivire is great for Speed and Attack, while Eelektross is better at Attack and Defense.
Both have massive movepools, so it's whichever suits you!

Yea I was thinking of catching an Elekid then trading it for my black game, I was thinking Eelektross but as someone said before, Tynamo is a real pain trying to find and catch, so I think I'll go with the Electivire. Thanks for your help.

Idk if I'm to late for this... Jolteon imo is amazing. It has great Special Attack and Speed. Magnezone also had a Special Attack stat that is equally as high, accompanied by high defenses. But have higher Special Attack than Ampharos and Emolga, and higher Special Attack than Electivire's Attack. Both are easily obtainable in B2W2

If this offer is up for anyone I would take that please! I am trying to build my whole team now.

Don't forget, Eelektross has no type disadvantages when its ability is in effect

If you manage to get a Rotom, you can have a good chance, as long as gravity don't pull you down.

I'd recommend Eelectross, Electrive, or Raichu
