If somebody were to design a logo, what would you want to see in the poster? And what do you need for a logo to be attractive in your opinion? Please answer this.

Hmm. I think a good logo tells you the "message" immediately when you look at it. It shouldn't be too overdesigned but also not too plain.
I made some Pokemon logos as you probably saw now :]

Logos for what, exactly?

In general, logos should have a definite form and should have 1 main focus. :) When you look at a logo you should distinguish it from the rest at a glance.

For a logo, you want to catch the readers eye and make them think for a bit :)

You have to stand out, be colorful, not overly complicated, present your message in a neat and understandable way, and be memorable.

Has to stand out from the rest, colorful (without pissing rainbows), if its for a specific thing then include the theme, for example, if it were for the pokebay forum, try to have a Pokemon in the logo, but don't place them everywhere, usually just put your favorite one and leave it as that

Well, first of all, what "theme" are you making the game?
