How could a logo impact a community, society or people? I want your opinion on this, so there is no right or wrong. After all, this is a survey.

It Varies on what the logo is, for example, if it is seen world wide people will feel like it is a part of life, for example, look at coke bottles, almost everyone knows what it looks like by heart, just because it is shown around the world. And other logos can embrace a strong feeling for something, just like the way a peace sign automatically gives a feeling of inner peace and tranquility. It's about how you use it and what it means

try creating something everyone will like and will interest everyone. not that this is related to pokemon, but anything that has a moustache on it, basically everyone likes. find something related to pokemon, such as Pikachu or something, and put it in the logo.

Well a logo could say something important that the students would be afraid or nervous to talk about :)

It depends on the logo . And it also depends on the age group looking at the logo .

A logo is meant to be something that speaks for the entity's identity. What they stand for, where they come from, etc.
Symbols, colours, lettering, etc. can change the meaning of a symbol or logo.

Take, for example, the symbol used by those who practice Nazism.
The "Nazi" symbol is really simply a modified version of a different religious background that had nothing to do with Nazism in the first place(research for further details).
But even if one sees the original, the first thing that comes to mind is "Nazi". In one's mind, you will connect that with the happenings of WWII, etc. rather than focussing on what the logo truly means.
This just goes to show how much power and impact a simple logo/symbol can have with the mix of meaning, propaganda, history, etc.

So, all in all, a logo can impact a community, society, people, etc. through inspiring. It can impact by striking fear at the sight or mention. It can impact by causing one to pause and think/remember(the Poppy can be another example). It all depends on the history and intent.
