Dream World Shut Down?

Will Dream World shut down? I have read from some site that Nintendo will shut down Dream World when X and Y arrives.. but... BUT I just bought Black 2! That will rip me off so good Imma cry!

It's not really ripping you off, you're just a little late to the party. But yes almost everything involving the Gen 5 online playability will shut off. Except Random Matchup unrated battles, GTS, and Private/FC Battles.

That would mean I will not be able to get Pokemon with Dream Abilities ever? How about People who'll purchase the BW2 even if XY already exists? They won't be able to complete the medals?

That is pretty lame. I just bought a dream radar lol. But your right. That's cutting things off for other people who would like to play bw2. Maybe they didn't think about that.

No, they thought about it and its a strategy that is employed by sequels all the time. Nintendo cuts off almost all the key features if the game while still enabling you to waste money by purchasing the now defunct Dream Radar. This entices you to go pick up the next gen game... Happens all the time.

We're dealing with a corporation with Nintendo. They honestly can care less about consumers of last generation games.

You know this for a fact? From what I'very seen in the page detailing the DW shutdown says Pokémon Black, White, Black 2 & White 2 features will go offline.
GTS tracking for Gen V ends on January 14th 2014 and Rating Mode on Random Matchup goes offline on January 14th 2014.

They are shutting out everyone without X&Y. Do the research...

You can get DW pokemon in gen 6 but they are now called HA pokemon (hidden ability) which are found in the friend safari and horde battles
