Hi everyone!

We are just over three weeks away from the global launch of Pokemon X and Y and despite the last CoroCoro Magazine issue before the inception of Generation Six being released, news for the games, the Anime and more is still coming out! So let's get on with the news!

New Fossil Pokémon Evolutions:

Today, the French website Jeux Video has unveiled Aurorus, the evolved form of the recently revealed Amaura. It is a Rock/Ice-type Pokémon. It can learn a new move called Freeze Dry, which has the added effect of being super effective against Water-type Pokémon. Aurorus's description - It has the power to control -150°C cold. It uses it not just to attack enemies, but also to block enemies' attacks by forming walls of ice. It is the Tundra Pokémon.

Meanwhile, IGN revealed Tyrantrum, the evolved form of Tyrunt. Tyrantrum's description - It was unrivaled 100 million years ago, and reigned as king. Its greatest weapon is its large jaw, which can bite through thick iron plates as easily as sheets of paper. It is a Rock/Dragon-type, and knows the move Head Smash. It is the Tyrant Pokémon.

Now we have some Pokémon X and Y anime news, so if you don't want to see, then turn back now, because as the subheading suggests, spoilers are ahead!



Recently, further details of the upcoming series Pokémon XY were revealed in a trailer which can be viewed here:

It has been revealed that Ash knew Serena when he was a child, it shows Bonnie and Clemont helping Ash when he was falling. It also showcased Ash standing off against the rampaging Garchomp on his own as the media watched.

It is also revealed that there is a new design for Officer Jenny, while Nurse Joy keeps a design similar to her Unova design. In addition to that, it is revealed that Bonnie is hunting for a wife for Clemont, and she also holds onto his Pokémon Dedenne. Clemont has a robot arm called the Aipom Arm in his backpack.

Clemont refuses to battle Ash at the Lumiose City gym because he has no badges. The opening for this series shall be called Volt, while the ending is called "The X Strait and the Y Scenery".

Also, the Japanese magazine, Dengeki, has revealed the first two titles for the Pokémon XY anime, from a special due to air on October 17th.

The first episode features Ash heading towards Lumiose City Gym while the second episode features Ash and Co. getting attacked by Team Rocket as they go to see Professor Sycamore.
An image also confirms that Clemont has a Bunnelby when he battles Ash and confirms that Wobbuffet will definitely return to Team Rocket.

The Titles are as follows:

Episode 804: We've Come to Kalos Region! Dreams and Adventures Begin!
Episode 805: Mega Evolution and the Prism Tower!

It shows familiar faces from Red and Green, to Brock, Professor Oak, Giovanni and even Mewtwo!
There's not too much news on this except for a few little bits here and there so keep your eyes peeled for more in future!

New Sixth Generation Japanese Event Pokémon Distribution:

As they have done for the last 3 years with a special Audino, the Pokémon Center has announced the special gift for you to receive in the various Pokémon Centers across Japan for your birthday. This time, you have a choice of ten Pokémon: Pikachu, Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon and Sylveon, marking Sylveon as the first Kalos Pokémon distribution. This distribution runs from October 12th for Pokémon X & Y.

Former Nintendo President and Chairman Hiroshi Yamauchi Dies:

Finally in today's news, former Nintendo President Hiroshi Yamauchi has passed away two days ago in hospital following complications of Pneumonia. Mr. Yamauchi was President of Nintendo from 1949 to 2002 and Chairman from 2002 to 2005. He was succeeded as President of Nintendo by the current President Mr Satoru Iwata. Mr Yamauchi is credited for being responsible for making what Nintendo, what it is today. Turning the company from a small company manufacturing card games into a multi billion dollar Video Game company. And for buying the American Baseball team, the Seattle Mariners which is still owned by Nintendo to this day.
At the time of his death Mr. Yamauchi was the biggest shareholder in the company, holding 10% in total. Nintendo has issued a statement saying they were mourning the loss of a friend and former president. Mr Yamauchi was 85 years old.

Rest In Peace Mr. Yamauchi, we're grateful for everything you did to make us love everything Nintendo today.

This is awsome, I had to carefully choose which parts to read to avoid spoilers, I wonder which season ash knew serena from?
Also the titles for 804 and 805 are the japanese titles correct? Translated to english?
