You've got Diamond/Pearl/Plat? Have you tried chaining? It can be frustrating to start with, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy. Whilst chaining for other pokemon I've also caught three shiny pokemon that appeared at the normal 8200/1 odds, simply because I was just having way more wild pokemon encounters.

Or you could try breeding for them with a foreign pokemon. <_< Apparently if you complete your pokedex on b2/w2 you get an item that increases your shiny odds even more, but your breeding odds will always be worse than your chaining odds.

If you just want some shinies and don't care if you caught them or not, I have some I can trade. :)

Try GTS breeding can be painfully slow. But not normal GTS no the GTS negotiations where people can't adk about a Zekrom/Reshiram lvl 1. Just put on your training card the words: Color Change. People will then know you want a shiny.
