Help with friend code!

Hi guys I have a bout 4 friends registered in my 3ds, but when I go into my pokemon game, it doesn't have them registered as friends. Also the little green notification light where the icon is for my game won't disappear.
Please, I need help, and in the process my friend code is: 3609-1740-6171.
I'll make sure to register you as well if you leave your friend code.

I know that the people i have registered don't show up until the first time we are both playing at the same time and are connected to the internet if you go to friend safari you should be able to see them there when it asks you to pick a safari
