Or drop something exclusive to your version on the GTS asking for a skrelp.
Lairon for example.
(don't bother searching for a skrep on the GTS, you'll only find people asking for legendaries and such, depositing works much better).

Yeah it is. But if you deposit pokemon asking for equally valuable pokemon they usually get traded pretty fast.
I've given up on the search button a long time ago already.
Especially because most of the pokemon they're asking for can't even be traded, even if I wanted to (Mew, Jirachi, Arceus etc). -.-

I really wish they would make it so that you can't even request pokemon that can't be traded. It is so pointless and completely spams the list so you can't find any real trades.
