Sorry to burst your bubble, but since 4th and 5th Gen online compatibilities have ended a few months ago, you can no longer trade or battle on 4th Gen (Diamond/Pearl/Platinum/HeartGold/SoulSilver) and 5th Gen (Black/White/White 2/Black 2).
