Hi everyone and welcome to the PKMBlast monotype tournament. Here you will build a team of your favorite type and bring them into battle. After each round i will post the Battle videos on my youtube channel “PKMBlast!” in a playlist showing the round for all to see. The rounds will be swiss to keep everyone from getting eliminated do to a bad type matchup and will be spread over 5 rounds. each match will be a random battle style of ether singles, doubles, triples, or rotation using the "normal battle" rules format you and your opponent will be pm’ed the battle type at the start of each round.
the point system will be as follows 0 points for a loose, 0.5 points for a draw, 1 point for a win, and 2 points for a win against a trainer using a type you’re weak against (exp. if you beat a water team when you are using a fire type team you will get 2 points)
each round’s match ups and battle formats will be randomly generated and each contestants type is to remain a mystery until the beginning of the first round to everyone except the ref.
the prizes are to be announced and donations are graciously accepted if you wish to donate a prize pokemon please pm me
the rules are as follows
1.all pokemon in your party must share 1 type with the exception of 1 “wildcard” pokemon
2.your wild card must know at least 1 move that is the same type as your team (exp. if you have a water type team your wild card must know at least 1 water type move)
3.no legendary pokemon of any kind
4.once the tournament has started you may not change your team this regards the pokemon on the team, their move sets, or their held items
5.no Hacked pokemon, if you are caught using hacked pokemon you will be kicked from the tournament without question
6.after each battle 1 player must record the battle video and send it to the tournament ref
7.lastly don’t take this too seriously i want a good clean tournament and remember if it’s not fun then there is no reason to play
