LF RAIN DISH SQUIRTLE AND SOUND ADVICE

i plan on using water spout ( I know, crazy right) in competitive battle. I most likely will run blastoise on a rain team and I'm debating on torrent or rain dish being better for blastoise. When I get too low , scald or water pulse as the alternative move will do more damage. However, hp gained by rain dish could prove pivotal in water spout damage.

I also really need rain dish squirtle regardless and will trade other HA pokemon for it. :)

I don't have one for trade, but both abilities are viable. I think rain dish is better overall. Sure you get the torrent boost, but you can also get boosts from rain and items like life orbs, choice specs, etc and rain dish allows you to both use higher power water spouts and keep your blastoise around longer. Also, blastoise isn't the fastest, so you may want some form of speed control to ensure that you will fire off a water spout before your opponent can reduce your HP
