Shiny Charm Information

Hey guys ive recently finished my national dex and have been looking online for information how the shiny charm works. I see that the description says only wild pokemon are affected by receiving this item but im more of a breeder and want to know if it also increases the chance of shiny eggs. if anyone could help me out thanks a lot! and im sure other people say thanks as well.

Hello Chrispy, I've gathered some information here for you. If my mathematics are correct.

No Shiny Charm, No MM(Madusa Method): 1/4096
Using Shiny Charm, no MM: 1/2731
No Shiny Charm, using MM: 1/1365
Using Shiny Charm, using MM: 1/1024

I also preffer using the Madusa Method as I'm fond of IV's and certain natures & nicknaming. However getting what you want varies it's all up to luck. Some people have went on and on just to get a shiny egg however it is worth the time. It's pretty time consuming i'll say. Just be consistent and take it one day at a time.

Yea i have my foreign ditto in the daycare too. Okay thank you for getting back to me i just wanted to make sure both MM and Shiny Charm worked together.
