Announcing: Pokemon-Online Battle Simulator Server

I am pleased to announce that PokeBay now has it's very own 'Pokemon-Online Battle Simulator' server running.

For those who don't know about the Pokemon-Online Battle Simulator it's a program you can download to your computer and connect to a server. If there are other people online you can challenge them to a battle or watch other battles taking place all from your computer.

The program can be downloaded from: http://pokemon-online.eu/download

Once installed you can build a team of your choosing and then 'Go Online'. Scroll through the list of servers until you see 'PokeBay' and you'll be able to connect.

Please note: This has only just been installed and I haven't used it before so if there are any problems let me know and I'll try to sort through them.

The server is open to anyone so invite your friends and remember: Have fun!

I've seen a few people online and battling. I guess it just depends on the time of the day. Hopefully as more people find out about it it will be used more.

I don't know whether it's just me but.. Whenever I search for Pokebay, I can't find it whats so ever.

The server should be back online now. Not sure why it wasn't showing up but I restarted it and it is now.

I'm not sure why but it wont let me download it. It looks amazing though, even on Android.

maybe there should be a section under who is online where people can see whos on pokeonline that would make them more willing to try out this server.

Yes, sorry. I had to take it down for a bit because it was messing up some other things. When I can I'll try and get it up and running again.

I didn't at first but now I'm on PO so I'd be on the server a lot. I ventured into other servers and realized they have listings of all the gym leaders and E4... maybe you could do that? It's okay if you can't it's just a suggestion

Every time I go through the setup, it ends up saying there is no folder for the file.. and I apparently don't have access ;c

I tried to use it but every time I started to win the other person just quit the game without finishing it. It was really irritating and happened like five times!

Is there any chance that our server will be back up?

I'm still having trouble getting it working again. I do want to get this back online if I can though.

Do you know why it won't work? Wish I could help, but I only have a phone. :L

The only servers I have to host websites and things like a Pokemon-Online server are running an operating system Pokemon-Online doesn't support. I was able to get it working at one point then a new version came out and everything stopped working.

Worst case scenario I'll install a new operating system so I can run a Pokemon-Online server but that's very time consuming so if I have to go down that path it'll be during the christmas/new year period when I have some time.

Well, good luck with finding a better alternative! I honestly enjoyed using your server on PO, even if it was for a short while. :)

Just an update on this. I've got the server back up and running. I'm still in the process of setting up (only get to work on it in my spare time which I don't get a lot of) so if it's down when you're trying to use it don't worry because it will be up again a.s.a.p.

Turns out it had crashed so I had to restart the P-O server but it should be back up now.
