With the Detective Pikachu Movie in the works, I've been thinking; what would the cast from the main series Pokemon game look like?
Imo Gillian Anderson and Cillian Murphy would make an excellent Jessie and James. And maybe Danny DeVito as the voice of Meowth?
Any other suggestions? It could be a real life anime movie with Ash and Co., or follow the games with Red, etc.. What are your ideal casting roles? Be creative!

Culian Murphy as James. GENIUS!! I think Emma Watson as Misty would be absolutely disgusting in the best possible way omg. Donald Glover as Brock?? May I say tho, I think instead of Gillian, Helena Carter?? She could just play ANY role!!! Meowth as Gilbert Gottfried. David Duchovney looker, who else?? Jessica Alba for Cynthia. They're both too sweet and have that... "eye" about them. What a look. I know he's bald but Giovanni played by the Rock anyone?? Danielle Radcliffe as Ash. Ima chill now. But tell me I'm crazy
I have 0 suggestions for this; say, if Red were to be in an irl pokemon movie, who would he be played by?
Because I'm clearly insane I've been at work thinking about this. I can see either Jaden Smith or Jason Gordon-Levitt. Jason strikes me as older Red. And I think Jaden has that real dark look Red kind of has. Like gentle but with no Fs to give
