I choose turtwig just to try something though I was leaning toward chimchar alot and later on piplup became my main choice after I got it from a trade and it had ice beam now I have lvl 100 empoleon.

I chose Chimchar because I've always had a thing for the fire starters

But out the games I hated diamond and pearl the pokemon where too dark and wierd

I love my Empoleon so much! I feel like, if he was real, we would have a special connection! Not to mention my Leon can kick anyone's butt anytime!

seriously, what was up with the pokemon in those games/gen? i could only get through so much. havent tried b/w yet, wonder how they are... anyways, i remember trying the monkey first and it wasnt bad, i just couldnt get into the game really. then i tried the piplup; better results, same problem with the game. could only make it so far... but i wanted to see cool stuff that always happens after the elite 4... hg/ss ftw

I chose piplup and its and empoleon now and i transferred it over to black 2 and now its my favorite steel type :)
