What was the first shiny Pokemon you caught?

Gyrados was not my first shiny, Loudred in Sapphire was

I've only caught 1 shiny before, I defeated Red Gyarados (Heart Gold and Soul Silver!) My 1st actual one was a Shiny Braixen in the Friend Safari

I regard myself as having two first shinies, one is a shiny clauncher which i got by chain fishing, but the same day i caught a shiny glourk at full odds in the freind safari which was the first shiny i ever felt a sense of reward in finding (because chain fishing is way too easy)

Never caught a shiny :( I've tried chaining Scatterbug but alas, nothing. I did encounter a shiny once. I had no idea it was shiny though. I was near the lost hotel in Pokemon X and fighting in the bushes and I was using my shiny Gyarados (I dont count him because everyone has him). So I was looking away and thought the shiny noise was just my gyarados when I ran into a blue Pawniard. Killed it. Kept fighting. A piece of my soul died the next time I saw a pawniard and realized they were red normally.

I HAVE gotten shinies from wonder trade though! A shiny rattata with perfect IVs, and my friend gave me a shiny mareep (perfect IVs as well). Mega shiny ampharos is the bomb.

My first was a Wheezing in Diamond back in 2010. I caught it at the base of that one mountain in the after-game after having the game for about a year.

I have never caught a shiny before. this makes me feel sad that I got shiny porygon through trade :|

A red Duskull in Ruby. I also caught a gold Claydol in Ruby but Duskull was my first excluding red Gyarydos from gen 2. Since then I got a gold Tentacool and Geodude (both Firered) and just yesterday I got red Gyarydos as my first shiny in X. Any other shinies I've had have been through trades.

A shiny Altaria in Pokemon Ruby. At the time I was so young I didn't even know why it was miscolored, I thought it was some sort of glitch lol.

I didn't catch it, but I got a shiny Suicine on WT for Flabebe. Best. Day. Ever.

I caught my first shiny in pokemon Black 2 it was a female gothorita.

So the first shiny I found was Gyarados from Crystal..... However the first non story shiny Pokemon is Mareep (I fell that I spelt it wrong..) from X :)

My first was a wurmple in Ruby that evolved into a beautifly. I was really little though and I didn't even know what a shiny was, so I unfortunately deleted it.
I've recently been trying to find a shiny wurmple that I could possibly trade into Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire and take on my journey.

First shiny that i managed to catch was a Level 15 Magikarp on Route 3 (Pokemon X) :P , i also caught it on Christmas Day, funnily enough.

I have yet to encounter a wild one but got 5 so far from Wonder Trade.
