Kanto Jirachi

I got a jirachi from the gts today in my platinum and its from kanto and it was caught with a masterball and I need some help to figure out if its fake or not

I don't think you can get them from Kanto, only Hoenn so unless it was put into Firered/Leafgreen from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and then put into 4th or 5th Generation for you to gain it through GTS.
And besides you can't get a event pokemon through GTS unless by means of using Primary D.N.S Code Hacking.
Otherwise I haven't got a clue.

It's a hack. Sorry, you can't catch it in Kanto, because it was first created with the hoen PokeDex, and you can't catch it in HG/SS without an Event, and you don't get Events in Masterballs. AND you can't trade most Event across GTS (premier ribbon).

P.S. can't you just transfer it over from R/S/E to P/D/Pl/HG/SS?
