My pokemon ruby is broken :(

hey guys my pokemon ruby is broke i droped it and the casing smashed i selotaped it back up but it workedd for what 2 -3 months then said saved data erased it self why i had rares lucky i traded my blazeakin to my other rub but i need help i had lots of memories on there is there any way to get the data back! plz im begging you

sadly im afraid there insent a way to retrive youre save, the old nintendo carts were fairly durable but not invincable, once the file either gets corrupted from water, smoke, shock from a fall etc, its basically a dead file, Im very sorry for your i know how you feel, i recently found my old orig blue and when i tried to use it the battery was dying and hiccuped data everywhere, elite four walking about, rebattling trainers with pokemon that they did NOT have before then after 10 min of that it died completly., i was heartbroken, but you can always start your adventure over, plus with AR and the like you can get everything you had before.
