i doubted the masuda method. but i got a japanese ditto and tried it, it's been a couple of weeks.
i got an egg from the daycare man and i decided it was my last and that i would give up, but guess what???
it was a shiny! it was the best feeling ever.
so for you doubters out there, it does work, it might take a little time but yes, it does work.
just stick with it, it pays off in the end.
