I thought of a idea 2 months ago I thought they could have a random shiny baby Pokemon guy that when you complete some hard end game task he gives you a random basic Pokemon and to stop soft reseters from getting really good Pokemon it's generated at the start of the game that way no one will have the same shiny Pokemon what do you guys/gals think

Honestly, shiny freebies kind of dilutes the "novelty value" of shiny pokemon. They're supposed to be one in a million (1/8192 if you want to get technical). They're not really special if EVERYONE has one..

thats true if you ever put a shiny gyrados or a dratini/gible on this site or the gts no ones ever interested cuse they already have one but with my idea that wont happen and it makes the joy of a shiny open to veterans and newbies alike.

I don't agree, even with the free shinys and the medusa method/SRing/chaining there is nothing like finding a shiny in the wild naturally.

But what Exflar means is that it ruins the value of a legit shiny Haxorus, because now, even if it has an egg move, nobody cares. They have that Pokemon shiny already, so why would they bother trading? Adding more freebies make it more difficult for shiny breeders to negotiate.

very true but once again because I have a MASSIVE EGO ill bring it back to my idea if the shiny pokemon is random things like that wont happen every one will have different shiny and every one will dance wearing cheese pants and rainbows will explode into dogs of many colours

Personally I'm a shiny collector/trader/trainer and I do judge some shinies based on the way they look such as seel and dewgong they're almost exactly they same as there non-shiny forms

well ive had around 6-7 wild shinys and frankly most of them sucked cuse either the pokemon it self was bad or it looked no different to how it normally looked so I cherish any shiny like my shiny Kricketune its GOLD
