It was here that the villainous Cyrus and his Team Galactic accomplices tried to create the 'perfect world'. You've probably heard the story before, but not this version.
The version everyone is familiar with is that Giratina arrived and opened a portal to the Distortion World before dragging Cyrus into it. As a young boy and the Champion of Sinnoh run after him.
All of this is true... But it isn't the whole story.
This is what happened on the original timeline.
Cyrus already had seized control over Dialga and Palkia. In the true story however, after travelling to the Distortion World, Cyrus used the Red Chain on Giratina itself. Now Cyrus had control over the three legendary Pokemon of the universe. But after showing his true colours to Team Galactic, he took the trio of Legendary Pokemon and teleported to somewhere far away.
The fate of the universe looked grim as Cyrus vanished without a trace. And at the top of Mt Coronet, a rift in time and space began to open. This rift could get bigger and cause untold damage to the whole of creation. But then as if a hero had arrived, Celebi appeared. It must've sensed the damage caused by the rift and come to Sinnoh to aid the boy in his quest to defeat Cyrus. But this boy could not defeat the trio alone, and for help, he'd have to delve deep into his past and stray far into the future.
This story tells the story of a young boy and his travels through time!
