Noooooo! And I was hoping form changing would stop within gen 5. Gah, now I have to get TWO Mewtwos so I can have them in both forms. Thanks for the update though!

As for the confirmation:
I'm definitely disappointed it's a form but it wasn't unexpected.

It'd be nice for them to just make up new pokemon instead of making everything evolve/babies or remakes of old gen pokemon *coughcoughgen5coughcough* But on the bright side, this means that this new Mewtwo isn't a new Pokemon. It's a form. Means there's a lot more Pokemon from gen 6 to expect. And unless I'm mistaken, this is the first pokemon to get a new form in a separate gen. (FORM, not evolution)

I'm hoping that there aren't too many new forms... It's okay to learn about the new Pokemon, but when they go back and alter old Pokemon it's just... no...

Gary- you are correct, unless you count Unown ( in which there were the symbol ones added after Gen 2)
