Type of Sylveon

It might make kids mad, but im almost positive that sylveon is a normal type and a lot of fans are making a big ordeal on the type it might be. Id like to hear some opinions of what more pokemon fans have to say on this

If it was a normal type, that would defeat the whole purpose of eevvelutions. I think it's ghost, bug, flying, or steel.

All joking aside, flying seems to fit the best in my opinion. It kinda has a kite design.
I can't see Sylveon being a steel type...

I can't either, but remember that every eeveelution's type is reflected obviously in it's name, in this case Syl, or Sil, so it stands to reason it's short for Silver which would make sense.

the only thing that makes me mad about this stupid pokemon is what possessed game freak to make some stupid big eyed, pink bowed eevee evo when they couldve made this one of the coolest pokemon in the entire game series?

I have to agree that making a normal-type Eevee evolution would be completely pointless... especially as there are so many other types of evo's that they haven't done for it yet. In my honest opinion, if you want a normal-type Eevee, then don't evolve it.

I just can't see Sylveon as being a flying type, though. I always figured that a flying Eevee evo would have wings, or ears that look and work like wings. My best guess would be that Sylveon's a ghost.
