    Are You A Good Strategist?

The strategy you master is the one you stick to. Through countless battles and process of elimination we test different movesets and team combinations to perfect it. Standard movesets are good but sometimes putting together a team requires you to try other attacks. In Team Builders we do just that but as a unit, working together to come up with new battle strategies and bring out the most out of our pokemon. If you like to think outside the box then we'd like you to be part of the team. Come join us and together we can be stronger!

Any member can open a discussion on a pokemon. First mention how you've trained it so far and for what type of battle. Then those who have any comments or suggestions will add them, whether it be on EV training, held items, or other movesets. Also, everyone's opinion on group activity is considered. We'd like people to participate often so naturally we want members to be happy ^^ At the moment we´re planning a giveaway based on the pokemon posted by the group. More will be added.

i have a really good moveset for acticuno. If you teach it mind reader the next attack won't miss! So use mind reader then Use sheer cold. A 100% OHKO moveset.

If you use Smogon that set won't be allowed in OU. It's stupid, but the OHKO clause is a rule with them :/

I have 2 new stratigies. 1. For this stratigy you use poisonpowder and then leech seed. If you chose Bulbasaur as your starter in FireRed or LeafGreen, then you should use this, because Bulbasaur learns leech seed at level 7, and it learns PoisonPowder at level 15, so if you train Bulbasaur up to level 15 to battle brock, then this would be a perfect strategy, but PoisonPowder and other Poison-Type moves don't affect Poison-Type Pokémon, so you can't use this strategy on Koga or other trainers with poison types.

    2. I call it parafusion. Parafusion hurts, literally. This is the strategy of using both Paralysis and Confusion, giving your opponent a 33% chance to attack! This is best used with Seismic Toss since you need a Pokémon with good defenses to be able to survive using both of these moves, and Seimic Toss always deals 100 HP off your opponent (assuming your team members are Lv. 100) no matter what the user's Attack stat is. The last slot is probably Rest, Shadow Ball, or Attract.

How about this strategy? You need the following to do it.

a Gothitelle with Shadow Tag and a Durant with Truant.

    1. Send out Durant against the opponent.
    2. Get durant to use Entrainment to give the opponent Truant.
    3. Send out Gothitelle so that the oponent can not retreat.
    4. Now use Protect on their attacking turn, and when they are "Loafing around" use Calm Mind.
    5. Keep doing this till you max out your Sp.Atk and Sp.Def.
    6. Start Sweeping with Gothitelle, or even baton pass the stats if needed.

Edit: The only time this strategy canactually fail is if A: the opponent has Mold Breaker/Turboblaze/Teravolt, or B: The oponent is a Ghost type, which arent affected by Shadow Tag.

If they switch out on the same turn as Durant (which they probably will do) that was all for nothing basically. The Truant + Entrainment thing only really works as a way to bait. Here's how you would bait with it:

0)Get SR and other hazards out
    1) Give something Entrainment
    2) Predict what they'll switch to, if they will switch. Ie, if they have Charaizard in their party that's the obvious choice
    3) On the turn they will switch, send in something that can badly hurt or wall what they will send in, ie you'd want something like Garchomp to handle Charizard
    4) They will either switch again out of fear, or stay in hoping to survive a hit. With Charizard against Charchomp, it's almost a guarantee that they will switch (unless it's one of those weird defensive ones). Use a move that would be a good option against the one already out and the one that may come in. Ie, if they might switch to a Landorus, use Stone Edge, since it's good against Char and Lando

That's basically it. It's a weird thing to do though, and the Durant with Truant kind of can't do anything else...

Oh, i thought that if you switched in Gothitelle before they switch, it would prevent them from switching in the same turn, mb.
