*growls* Look, I'll provide a link to IR.GTS.BW for anyone who wants a LEGIT and SAFE way of cloning, although I don't agree with cloning in general. PokeCheck will bug up your game if you use it and the Pokemon from there are hacks! AR cards are the worst types of cloning devices:

They don't often work
It's dangerous
It can delete your game data

Download this along with the latest form of 'Python' and find a guide on the internet on how to use it. (remember to unZip the file when you download it... otherwise it won't work)

Wrong. There is a way to clone using the GTS in Diamond and Pearl but it's very tricky.

Pokecheck Pokemon (that pass the legitimacy test) are hacks if you download them to GTS, because you get the ribbon added to it, which is Pokecheck alternating the Pokemon. If you download the .pkm file, that is the completely legit cloned Pokemon. By using IR.GTS.BW to bring that file to your game, you're getting the legit clone (since the ribbon is not added).

Cloning is legit. It's like if someone were to clone you by using your DNA (in this case, your TID and SID), wouldn't the end result be a legitimate you. It's living and breathing, but just has your DNA in it. Now if it's hacked, that's like building your own human being (a robot, if you will) using whatever methods you want, making it illegitimate.

I only use cloning to get event Pokemon I wasn't able to get. Technically, Pokemon event Pokemon are created by Nintendo and cloned in order to give them to you (since the PID of event Pokemon are the same). It's just that Nintendo is the one cloning them. Obviously I would prefer receiving the Pokemon via the event; but if I missed the event, getting a clone of the event Pokemon is the next legitimate way to get it

Deja vu I do not use Pokecheck I download them to a diff site which I can't remember which gets rid of the ribbon.

I use POkechecks .pkm files (which makes them legit). I do not download straight from the site (which adds the ribbon, making them a hack)

Just for the record, any Pokemon received or cloned through Pokecheck is a pure hack in my book and to many others.
