If you do, can you use the Wi-Fi features of the game? I need to know if R4i supports this feature since I just purchased one thinking I could play White 2 (Because I bought a Black 2 Cartridge) to have another FC and use that as my second journey. Will Wi-Fi events work on Pokemon using R4i?

My understanding is that everything will work except for the things that use the local infrared (which is different to local Wi-Fi). Wi-Fi events and trades and local trades (via the PokeCenter) and in-store distribution events should work as normal.
That said I haven't got an R4i myself but that's what I've heard.
