It's not just how he looks that's cool and awesome... rather than being Fire/Flying he's Fire/Dragon!!! Meaning he's a beast... yeah yeah dragon is weak against fairy BUT fire is resistant to fairy.... So yeah he's def. a beast!

I really hope this doesn't effect shiny Pokemon I was planing on transferring my shiny charmander to Pokemon y and using it in mega form once I evolved it so it would be a mega shiny Charizard as well as the other shinys I've collected to use in mega form, I understand them not releasing new Pokemon but for the ones they have released I wish they would give a little more information about them, like if you can use shiny versions of the mega Pokemon I went through a lot of effort to get them and in 9 days I'm going to be really disappointed if I can't use them in mega form without any real changes to their appearance.

yes yes YES , hahaha awesome thing i preorddered X ,now i have 2 things to root for mega charizard x and mewtwo x and technicality points out that all mega pokemon will have a x and y form ps from looking now the x ones seem better =)
