    Does a Pokemon's nationality change

So I traded my American pokemon for a Japanese pokemon through the GTS in Goldenrod City in Soul Silver
It was a level 1 Cyndaquil (japanese name and trainer though)

When I evolved it, its Japanese name changed from its symbols to QUILAVA

Even though I evolved it, is the pokemon still of Japanese origin? Or can it change because it is in my American game and evolved?

It always does this. I had my Mudkip in Korean but it evolved and changed to Marshtomp.

I believe if you evolve it though, you can still see the foreign Pokedex entry for that Pokemon. Tell me if I'm wrong, I know it worked in one game... It was either HG or W that that worked in.
