3rd Gen Remakes

What do you think the remake of Ruby and Sapphire is going to look like? And what is the weird name of the remake going to be? I don't know but for me, they dont need to do anymore remakes.....

In my opinion, I have high hopes for them. R/S/E were my favourite Pokemon games, so i'm pretty excited~

I did not know that gray was coming. They said that there is no gray months ago and I was confused. Every game in its generation had 3 games so i didn't know why, but anyways I'm happy that there will be a pokemon Gray.

Yah. The only thing that was good about Platinum is that you can catch Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina in the same game, when Diamond only gives you Dialga.

I don't want them to do 'Pokemon Gray' i would rather they called it something different or used Victini as the mascot for the next game

I am excited about 3rd gen remakes. I never played in Hoenn except briefly on an emulator, which isn't the same. Also in SS/HG there were a huge amount of legends you could catch, so hopefully these will follow that.

3rd gen remakes are going to be for the 3DS
3rd gen remakes will feature some 3D goodies (which will seem outdated after Pkmn Grey)
3rd gen remakes will feature a ton of (legendary)pokemon because in the end all 649 pokemon should be available in the 5th gen games (including the dream world?).
3rd gen remakes might not connect with the dream world
3rd gen remakes may not bring back some components featured in the original games (contests)

And I sincerely hope the GTS will have some more filtering options (to exclude impossible or unreasonable trades)
I also wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo comes with it's own version of a Pokebay like website.

i hope the 3rd gen remakes flop. i really didnt enjoy them very much. the pokemon were kind of un spectacular. and they were the first game to have way too many legendarys. diamond topped that, but still...

Gen III remakes would most definitely fly off the shelves. I enjoyed Ruby and Sapphire very much. The pokemon were the most original and the most natural: natural meaning, the majority of them seemed realistic. Many of my favorite legendaries come from RS (Latios, Latias, Jirachi etc). I'll preorder both copies as soon as they announce its release date!
