Somebody help me with gts?

I have started trading on the GTS but I haven't seen or owned any of the legendary's or a few of the rare pokemon. I was wondering if anyone has a tip on how I can search for them or if you would trade me yours and I could trade them right back.

When you look for or request a Pokemon, scroll to the bottom of the alphabetical list to the tab "What Pokemon?" Click that, and you can type in which Pokemon you're looking for. Spell it correctly, though, or it won't work.

Is there a certain way to type the names in? I can't find arceus or mew at all typed in several diff ways

I've searched for Mew myself... nobody has any listed for trade. The best you can do is request it.


...,And for the record, I'm definitely not a 'sir'. I'm a mom... my teen son even sticks his nose in around here from time to time. ^_^

Dont have an answer for that, but if you try to trade them a message about it being special and not allowed to be traded appears
