Protean Froakie

I've just got one over wondertrade. Is it worth anything? I've heard a few people talking about it as if it's rare before.

Protean is Froakie's Hidden Ability (HA), and many people really like the ability. It allows the Froakie to become the typing of the move its using, so every move has the Typing boost.

What do you reckon I could get for it? I doubt someone will give me an Arceus for a level 1 Froakie! Would people be willing to give me a legend or shiny? Or something like Scizor/Slowking/Dusknoir or other trade evolutions with items? Or perhaps a stone evolution like a Roserade or Bellossom?

I need to get that Pokedex filled!

They are pretty common at this point, if it is Japanese or some other language some people might want it to try to breed a shiny with that ability which is what most people want.

It will definitely be rare, if you get one that is Shiny and has protean

I hate to say this but at this point your Protean Froakie is worthless in terms of trade value because as it is a popular Pokemon there are many breeding rejects being traded through Wonder Trade for whatever gets given to the breeder. So I'm sorry but you won't get much for it.
