Welcome one and all to the PokeBay Tag Team Terror Tournament thread!Following on from the massive success of Grant's PokeBay Tournament which used multiple battle styles, I'm excited to announce PokeBay's next major tournament... The PokeBay Tag Team Terror Tournament!Now the last tournament was about proving who was the very best like no one ever was in every battle style except one... The Multi Battle.So the basis of this tournament is to team up with a friend or a foe and see if you can create the Ultimate Tag Team and survive four rounds of combat!
However there is one twist: Upon deciding your teammate and joining, you will be assigned a designated Chatroom so you may communicate privately with your teammate on your strategy.And don't worry, there will be prizes! With that sorted here are the rules!
Tournament Rules:
You and your partner may not use two or more Pokemon of the same National Pokedex number. I.e: two Kangaskhans.
You may not use two or more of the same item.
If you are not present in the tournament for 48 hours or more, your team will be disqualified as the tournament needs to progress through the rounds rapidly.
The use of hacked Pokemon is strictly forbidden. If you are caught using Pokemon created from a device from outside the game or modified outside of the game in anyway, your team will be disqualified.
The following Pokemon are banned: Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Mew, Raikou, Suicune, Entei, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Dialga, Palkia, Heatran, Regigigas, Giratina, Cresselia, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Tornadus, Thundurus Reshiram, Zekrom, Landorus, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Diancie and unreleased Pokemon (Hoopa and Volcanion).
Remember to use good sportsmanship, as this is just for funAny participant who displays rude behavior or unsportsmanlike conduct will be disqualified.
Participants must have a 3DS or 2DS of some kind, a Pokebay account, and a copy of Pokemon X or Y to enter.
Abilities must be the correct ability for the Pokemon.
Moves may only be learned through an event, leveling up, breeding, TM or HM, Smeargle's sketch, or from a move tutor.
Pokemon from previous games brought from PokeTransporter ARE allowed.
YOU MUST USE THE SAME TEAM THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SWITCH POKEMON AND ITEMS BETWEEN ROUNDS.

A full detailed list of who gets what will be arranged closer to the starting date.
Battles:
Battles will be done by exchanging friend codes and challenging each other to battle on the PSS. The battle must be a Multi Battle, and a team of 6 Pokemon that meet the requirements above must be used, although you will only pick three at a time. All Pokemon will be set to level 50 before the battle.
Battles will be between the two teams per battle scheduled to face each other that round, and you may pick a time in the 48 hour round period to battle.The winner of each battle can post on here or PM me the winner so I can enter it in the bracket. As proof I require you to upload the battle via the Vs Recorder to verify the battles if any complaints arise of unfair behavior.
I will randomly generate the bracket once all eight entries are in.
