Is It Legit?

Someone traded me a Level 100 Shiny Jirachi over the internet. My instinct is to assume that it's fake (especially since legitimate shiny Jirachis are very rare) but here's the stats:


Original Trainer: Chinese/Korean, I can't read it
ID No.: 08015
Ability: Serene Grace
Attacks: Doom Desire, Zen Headbutt, Psychic, Moonblast
Item: Star Piece
Kalos Born (I'm assuming it's impossible)

It has "FRE" on top, so it must have come from a French Trainer, and this conflicts with the Chinese/Korean OT.

It actually all depends on a single number. Are you sure it is 08015 or did you mean 08014? Other than that, also can you check if it says "PC Tohoku. Apparently had a fateful encounter at Lv. 10" on the second page and then list any ribbons it has. Lastly, is the OT たなばた?

Yeah, that's the OT ID and the number is 08015. And yes, PC Tohoku, Met at Level 10, Fateful Encounter.

I think the only way to get a Kalos Born Jirachi is the event. I'm not even sure if events have the Kalos Born mark with it... There was a Shiny Jirachi Event that happened recently for X/Y. But it was only distributed in Japan and has the ID Number 08014, not 08015. And it only is distributed at the Pokémon Center Touhoku - Tanabata Festival, which is only in Japan. I think it's hacked. It's most likely impossible to get a Japanese/Chinese/Korean OT from the event and have it come from France.

Yah, unless its 08014 then its a hack. Looks like someone was trying to make a fake one and messed up the OT.

And for everyone else, if you take your game to another country, you can get their event but it will be your language and country.

My pokemon Y save file got corrupted a year ago when I used a lot of hacked pokemon online ( received them from the GTS and I've no idea it was hacked until I surfed google ) So maybe if you're not careful enough you will end up like me.

Kinda but sense it is hacked I would probably want to trade another hacked pokemon for it which ruins the entire point :P

Unless if there's someone desperate enough for a shiny Jirachi,they wouldn't care if the Jirachi is hacked.
