Shinies for Legendaries?

Do people do this? I'm not really sure about values. I'm on XY and have many Legendaries from ORAS. Would rather have random shinies

I think it depends on whether or not the legendary is an legit event or not. If it is it's worth more than a shiny, if it's a normal legendary then i don't think it is

Some people will trade random shinies depending on the IVs of their shiny and your legendaries. In other words you could find someone who wants strong legendaries for little or no IVs shinies, that's still a rare case.

I'm generally willing to make that trade, as long as the legendary is both competitive and legit. Weak shinies are worthless to me unless I can find a practical use for them, such as HM slave.

I have a shiny Palkia for trade, a shiny Ponyta, and a shiny Bagon. I'm in need of a shiny Arcanine or Growlithe. I'm willing to trade two shinies I have for it.

Some Legends are worth Shinies such as Victini Meloetta Mew Diancie Some cases Groudon with red orb or Kyogre with Blue Orb i'd say latias and latios have some RARE cases for getting Shinies
