Free Glalie holding Glalitite in ORAS for everyone!?

Hi there.

I just noticed that I got a Glalie Lv. 40 from following the story of the ORAS Special Demo. It is holding Glalitite which lets it Mega evolve. It can be moved to the full game. I think there might be some other items available as well, but I haven't played longer then to get the free Pokemon.

Moves are: Ice Fang, Headbutt, Protect and Forst Breath.

This might be common knowledge, but I just learned of it now. So maybe someone will feel enlightened
Let me know if this works everywhere. I'm EU based.

Nintendo made it public that you could earn items and the Glalie when the Demo was released back in fall of last year.
