That honestly wouldn't be a bad idea. So long as they were items that can normally be traded.

I like the idea, but I'm afraid it'd be people offering normal pokéballs and wanting master balls.
On the other hand, it would be amazing to be able to quickly trade something for an escape rope if you're stuck in a cave without a pokémon with dig.

Item GTS or a transfer machine for items would be fantastic and loooooong overdue.
