Questions about Mega evolution stones .

I Just needed to know are there some Mega stones that can't be traded to Pokemon Y? I was about to trade for a beedrill with his mega stone and was told it he could not do it. I didn't want to call the person out as a lier or trying to trade me a hacked pokemon or just not having the item. So any answers would be great.

The first list of megas are the ones you cannot obtain in XY and are ORAS exclusive only. Beedrillite is on this list! Hope that helped.
