    Explain region events

    So I recently received a Descartes Xerneas and Yveltal from another person. Everything about it seems legit or legal but my only question is if these pokemon were only distributed in the PAL region should these pokemon show the PAL letters on their summary. Because the ones that I have do not indicate a region it is just blank.

    Xerneas and Ylvetal were released recently as events in America and Japan I think
