A new CoroCoro magazine has started to leak and with it a large amount of new information for the new Pokemon X and Pokemon Y games.



First up is information for Xerneas and Yveltal.

Xerneas, now known as the Life Pokemon, is a pure Fairy type Pokemon. It's ability is the new 'Fairy Aura' which powers up Fairy type moves. It also has a new move called 'Geo Control'.

Yvetal, now known as the Destruction Pokemon, is a Dark/Flying type Pokemon. It's ability is the new 'Dark Aura' which powers up Dark type moves. One of it's new moves is 'Death Wing'.

Also announced was 5 new Pokemon.

1) Goronda (the aggressive Pokemon) - Goronda, a Fighting/Dark type Pokemon, is the evolved form of Pancham. Coming in at 2.1m tall and weighing 136kg, Goronda has the ability 'Iron Fist' and knows Hammer Arm.

2) Maika (the revolution Pokemon) - Maika, a Dark/Psychic type Pokemon, is 0.4m tall and weighs 3.5kg. It can either have the ability 'Contrary' or 'Suction Cup'. It has a new Dark type move called 'Turn Over' which will reverse stat changes.

3) Karamanero (the reversal Pokemon) - Karamanero, also a Dark/Psychic type Pokemon, is an evolution of Maika. It comes in at 1.5m tall and weights 47kg. It knows the move 'Hypnosis'.

4) Shushupu (the perfume Pokemon) - Shushupu is a Fairy type Pokemon 0.2m tall, weighing 0.5kg and has the ability 'Healer'. It also knows the move 'Aromatherapy'.

5) Peropuff (the cotton candy Pokemon) - Another Fairy type Pokemon. Peropuff is 0.4m tall and weighs 3.5kg. It has the new ability called 'Sweet Veil' which prevents it from falling asleep and knows the new move 'Drain Kiss'.

The previously announced Honedge has the ability 'No Guard'.

Pancham and Maika will be using a new method of evolution to evolve into Goronda and Karamanero. Details of this method are currently unknown.

Clauncher and Peropuff will be exclusive to the X version while Skrelp and Shushupu will be exclusive to the Y version.

The new professor goes by the name 'Professor Platane' and is said to battle you from time to time.

Two new gym leaders, Citron and Zakuro, have been announced. It's not yet known why types their gyms are.

The baddies of the game are known as 'Team Flare' with their primary goal being making money and getting rich.

The new Pokemon Search System will bring new features to the series. It will be the new access point for the Global Trade Station. It will contain the Holocaster which will give out official news, battles and events. Something known as Miracle Trade will also be introduced but details of this are currently unknown. There will also be some new social functions allowing players to broadcast achievements throughout the game (such as beating your first gym leader) as well as special powers to (slightly) power up your Pokemon through their adventure.
