• Will Ash Finally Be Champion In The Kalos Region?

    Pokemon Smash revealed the new trailer for the Pokemon X & Y anime, coming October 17th, showing Ash getting off of a plane, by himself, and yelling a promise to become the champion of the Kalos region. A promise made every region, Ash, in new attire, sets off on a brand new journey. Also featured here is Fenniken, Froakie, and Chespin!

      Im not sure ash will become champion but by now From all the regions he's gone through he probaly could

      Never will Ash be champion. It's just not in him. Sure his calling is to be a Pokémon Trainer and perhaps be somewhat of a legend but not a champion.

      I heard a while ago that the creators of the series won't let Ash become champion of a region until the last region (i.e. once they've decided not to make any more games). I think we're still a long way from that happening.

      For some reason I am extremely doubtful the writers would reveal that ash will never be champion of a region until the final games. What Ash has it in him to be is entirely on the writers and can't be determined by anyone else. I suspect he'll beat a league at some point, and begin a journey to challenge the Elite Four on a journey to being more than just a Pokemon league champ, but the region champ. He'll of course fail in this quest and another region will be located or something.

      i actually did some research and found out he did not win a league though he won the championship at orange islands and declinrd a offer to become frontier brain as he beat the rest but he wanted to continue his journey

      Those weren't really leagues though. More like challenges.

      Nope. He left after the Gold/Silver Anime. He makes appearances here and there in Hoenn and Sinnoh but not in Unova.
