• Brand New News!

A good amount of Pokemon news has surfaced recently, so let's start!

Brand New Pokemon X and Y Patch (Version 1.2)

At last, just recently a patch was released for Pokemon X and Y which fixes the various exploits that allowed people to use the so called 'Battle Analyzer'. Rating Battles will return in conjunction with this update.

    Pokemon Bank News

With anticipation growing for the release of Pokemon Bank on December 27th, The Pokemon Company has released a brand new trailer for Pokemon Bank. The trailer confirms you can transfer whole boxes of Pokemon and that there are advanced search filters like the in-game search filters of Pokemon X and Y.
You will also earn PokeMiles for transferring Pokemon, but you can opt out of this and choose to earn Battle Points instead.
If you are only intending to use the free trial of Pokemon Bank, be aware any Pokemon left over after the trial ends can be withdrawn for a short period of time. After this they will be gone forever with no way of recovering them.
Pokemon Bank also ignores the 'Region Locks' so that American 5th Gen Pokemon can be transferred to a Japanese copy of X or Y.
Bridgette the controller of Pokemon transferring in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire Box will return as the controller of Pokemon Bank.
Special things will happen also when Genesect and Kyurem are transferred and taken to the Hiker in Amberette Town and the Punk Girl in Kiloude City respectively.

    17th Pokemon Movie:

CoroCoro has leaked information about the 17th Pokemon Movie which will be released in Japan on 19th July 2014. The movie apparently features Xerneas, Yveltal and an abundance of Mega Evolutions. It is also apparently called 'Cocoon of Destruction'. A trailer will supposedly be shown in Japan this weekend on Pokémon Get☆TV.

    Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen Soundtracks:

Finally today, if you bought the Pokemon X and Y Super Soundtrack, you'll be happy to know that in North America and Europe, the next wave of soundtracks has been released by The Pokémon Company. This soundtrack is the Pokémon FireRed & LeafGreen soundtrack and contains 90 tracks from the games for $11.99/£10.99/€11.99 on the iTunes Store.
The Pokémon Company has promised that the soundtracks for Ruby & Sapphire, Diamond & Pearl, HeartGold & SoulSilver, Black & White and Black 2 & White 2 are to be released within 2014.

Well that's all the news I have for today, Pokemon fans!
I've been Professor Nick reporting for PokeBay News, and I hope you'll stick around for more news in the future!

Loving the idea of releasing music, but I'm not sure I want to pay for a 7 second soundbite. Oh well, maybe it'll be more worth it to buy the entire album lol

To buy a full album's far cheaper than buying individually. It'd be like $100+ if bought individually. So think of it as being buying a bunch of songs and getting soundbites for free.
