• Introducing Pokemon X and Y

    During a special 'Nintendo Direct' held January 8th, 2013 it was announced that the 6th generation of Pokemon is coming in the form of Pokemon X and Pokemon Y.


    Both Pokemon X and Pokemon Y will be released worldwide in October 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS (the first time a Pokemon game is released in all regions at the same time).

    For a look at the new games check out the trailer below. In addition to showing off the new style of the Pokemon games, 5 new Pokemon are revealed. The 3 starter Pokemon (Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie) and the 2 game legendaries (Xerneas and Yveltal).

      Soooo...will the moving around still be like forward, backwards, left and right, or can you go in any direction you want?

      I'm not sure, the camera views are somewhat interesting. Will this mean we can move the camera, or like before the game does every camera angle... But I can imagine they will keep the original format of back/forward/left/right.

      What's the big deal about 3d if you can't walk completely 3d n' stuff. 38 I would LOVE if they made the camera movable!

      I'm 99.8% certain that this game is a grid walking system (Forward,Backward,Left,Right) but the way you move is different instead of you moving the world like in every other game you move within the world so quite a big change in movement system meaning they can throw some crazy camera angles. Still it'll make little difference to us I guess game freak will benefit more from this change. Hope I helped
