Introducing Pokemon X and Y

During a special 'Nintendo Direct' held January 8th, 2013 it was announced that the 6th generation of Pokemon is coming in the form of Pokemon X and Pokemon Y.
Both Pokemon X and Pokemon Y will be released worldwide in October 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS (the first time a Pokemon game is released in all regions at the same time).
For a look at the new games check out the trailer below. In addition to showing off the new style of the Pokemon games, 5 new Pokemon are revealed. The 3 starter Pokemon (Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie) and the 2 game legendaries (Xerneas and Yveltal).
