If you do offer a shiny, please make sure it isn't competitive, b/c that doesn't seem fair to me.

I do want to ask for some events though like Ash's Pikachu from the 2011 event***, the heart stamp pikachu of this year, halloween banette from a few years ago, or Hayley's Mew.
